Im sitting here dreaming

As I lay awake thinking

Of meeting you in my sleep

I close my eyes

And open my mind

Slowly I start to wander

The hours warp by

As time stands still

Im moving at light speed

On the stars I fly

In the blink of an eye

Im standing by your side

I reach out my hands

And you can feel my touch

Our souls join together as one

We take to the heavens

And in all lovers eyes

We are a shooting star

As we open our eyes

We’re in each others arms

We hold each other tight and kiss

For what seemed an eternity

We were together in a dream

But only for the twinkling

                                Of a star
