None Other Than You

By Philip Kyle Boone

18.November.1986

Someone who is beautiful and nice it seems

Will always be the answer to my dreams

I said to myself when I saw her for the first time

Someday all of her hopes and dreams will be shared with mine

I walked over just to say hello

She didn't say much, she had someplace else to go

Sometimes we would talk a little sometimes we would talk alot

What we talked about to me mattered not

So the days went by as well as the nights

This feeling I had grew stronger t'was something I could not fight

Even though the feelings were there, the words I couldn't say

My nerves would grab hold, I couldn't make them go away

So I though real hard of a way to tell her

The way I feel that my mouth couldn't blunder

Before I knew it, on this paper, came these words strong and true

    The one I'm thinking of

        Is none other than you!
